Chubby's Tacos

Taco Tuesday! Is a must. Tacos are normally 4ish and on Taco Tuesday they are all you can eat for 2 each. So, order your tacos, pick the meat (everything except seafood on taco Tuesday) and enjoy your chips and salsa with your meal. Make your way to the salsa bar before you sit down. They will bring your food out pretty quickly. This time I had to have the chicken nachos.....they were so good. Definitely a spot we will visit again.

Jennifer at Chubbies Tacos is truly a gem! Despite changes in management over the years, she's remained a constant, dedicated force behind the scenes and out front. Her passion for her work is inspiring, and her commitment to ensuring every customer leaves satisfied is evident in the way she frequently checks in not only as a customer myself but those around her. As a bonus, I've heard she's an amazing mom outside of work - the kind of person who pours her heart into everything she does. Given her years of hard work and loyalty, Jennifer absolutely deserves praise and a raise. Let's hope her dedication doesn't go unnoticed for much longer! Aside from her amazing service, the food is pretty good and their salsa bar has many selections which I’m sure everyone can partake in. My favorite is the green guac salsa. It’s creamy, savory, and mild.

Food came out extremely fast- we barely even sat down at our table before it was there! The prices are great- 10 for build your own burrito bowl with grilled chicken. Lots of seating options both in and outside. There is a nice bar if you are interested in a drink with your meal. Thirsty Thursday is 2 beers! They also did LOTS of to-go orders while I was there so that's another great option. Definitely will be coming back soon!

I was shocked with how packed this place was! It’s a quick service place, so you order at the counter and then sit and eat if you want. There is also a bar that was full! There tacos were so good. We got a specialty taco they had and it’s absolutely incredible. I will say that taco was 7 so be prepared this isn’t a cheap quick service place. However, the quality is good. The fresh salsas were also great!

I have had the opportunity to experience Chubby’s Tacos from multiple perspectives—not only as a customer enjoying their food, but also through my professional work as a plumber providing services at several of their locations. Based on what I’ve observed, this establishment is operated with a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to cleanliness both in the front of house and behind the scenes. The food is consistently excellent. I have sampled a variety of dishes, all of which were fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. I have interacted with Jeremy on numerous occasions. He is consistently courteous, focused, and clearly dedicated to maintaining high standards. Although he is often busy managing day-to-day operations, he takes the time to engage meaningfully when the opportunity allows. The staff is hardworking, respectful, and well-organized. The kitchen facilities are exceptionally clean—among the best I have seen in the many commercial environments I visit in my line of work. My company is recognized for delivering high-quality plumbing services across Wake County, and we are not among the least expensive. The fact that Chubby’s continues to work with us reflects their strong commitment to quality and professionalism—values that are clearly evident in the experience they provide to their customers. I highly recommend Chubby’s Tacos to anyone seeking excellent food, attentive service, and a well-run establishment.

The food is consistently good, and the prices stay reasonable. The staff is friendly and the restaurant was clean. I enjoyed the nachos!

The food is great and reasonably priced. You don't have to wait long for your food. The last time I was there, my son thought he accidentally threw his airpods in the trash. The cashier was kind enough to help us search in the trash for the pods. I truly appreciate her going above and beyond to help us. Chubby Tacos will continue to have my family as customers.

Wish I could give Chubby’s six stars! They’re food is really good and reasonably priced, plus they have a great salsa bar. The owner is the sweetest person ever, and they are part of our local community. Also, solid rewards program. Couldn’t be happier with them! They don’t have all the options of a traditional Mexican restaurant, but their menu fits their style. Highly recommend!
